Katie Price has revealed she was sober for a year after quitting alcohol in rehab.
The 42-year-old reality star celebrates the personal milestone after her stay at the priory last year.
At the time, Katie was struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as being diagnosed with her mother Amy’s incurable lung disease.

Now Katie has revealed that she is “a completely different person” after turning her back on alcohol.

I’ve forgotten what it’s like to drink and that’s not like me because I’m pretty sociable and all
“And now I’ve forgotten what it’s like to drink, and it’s not like me because I’m pretty sociable and all. Then I was obviously in the Coke because I was treating myself. “
The earlier glamor showed it was at its lowest when she was a panelist for Loose Women.
However, she insists that she feels a lot better.
Katie also shared, “People hate it because I’m so confident now. I’m back to how I was and they don’t know how to deal with me because in the last few years they have been so used to me being down and too late for everything.

“It’s because I fought and didn’t tell anyone, but now I’m on fire.”
She added, “When I look at everything now, I think, oh my god, I’m a very different person now. What the hell?
“I’m actually embarrassed about how I acted and all that, but you know, that’s part of mental health. You can not change it. “
Katie is also grateful for her new husband, Carl Woods, to whom she credits her help.
When did Katie check in at the priory?
Meanwhile, in October, Katie bravely opened her rehab stay.
On her official YouTube channel, the mother of five went into great detail about her mental health problems.
She said, “I had thoughts of killing myself.
“It got that bad for me, but you don’t know because Katie Price always looks brave.”
Elsewhere, she talked about self-medication and the feeling of absolutely not being able to trust anyone.
Katie continued, “I wanted to keep it all and couldn’t speak. I just wanted to sleep. I was weak and I got overwhelmed by a drug and I got used by people.
“Then I had a wake up call … if I don’t get help, I’ll die or self-destruct. I had lost myself, the children had lost their mother, nobody believed in me anymore. “
In the past few weeks, Katie has received fan praise following the success of her BBC documentary Harvey And Me.

During her program, the star opened the struggles to raise her disabled son Harvey, 18.
Additionally, Katie is reportedly in talks to regularly appear at Steph’s box lunch.
