Katie Price and her mom Amy have released a heartbreaking update on the terminal lung condition of the 66-year-old.
Amy, who suffers from idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, was told she had three to four years to live in 2017.
And during an appearance on Good Morning Britain today (Feb.10), Katie’s mom bravely admitted she’s been “in the last few years” of her life.
What did Katie Price and her mother say?
In an interview with hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, Amy went into detail about her current condition.
She said, “I’m really up and down, to be honest. Obviously it’s Terminal and I should imagine that this is the past couple of years now.
“What about COVID and everything, when I catch a cold or COVID, there is just no hope that it would be the end for me.”
However, Amy remains confident that she will receive a transplant.
She continued, “I’m pushing to be on the transplant list. Because there is no cure and there is nothing else they can do for me.
“With the transplant, my age is against me because the results aren’t as good as I get older.
I should imagine that I am now in the past few years.
“If you can get through all of this, you will have a better quality of life and maybe two or three years.”
