Kunal K Kapoor is excited to return after almost 15 years Left Right Left with Sudhir and Seema Sharma’s army show Ziddi Dil Maane Na

Remember the 2006 TV show Left Right Left that featured familiar faces in the industry? If your answer is in the affirmative, you will also likely remember that Kunal K Kapoor played the role of cadet Yadhuvansh Sahni. Interestingly, after almost 15 years, the actor embodies in that of Sunshine Productions (Sudhir and Seema Scharma).

“I’ve tried different genres like romance, suspense, thriller, and the occasional negative trail, but I longed to do a light-hearted show related to the youth. At that time, Sunshine Productions offered me Ziddi Dil Maane Na. I went through different stations and came back here as a very mature person, ”says Kunal.

The actor started his showbiz journey with youth shows. His performance in Remix and Left Right Left were very much appreciated. And as always, it was the concept and writing of Ziddi Dil Maane Na that got him to agree to the show.

“It’s a coming-of-age story. Sid finds his calling and the love of his life while training, ”he continues, that Sid is a wealthy brat who leads a carefree life but becomes“ disciplined and responsible ”when he enters the academy. The actor also shares the rigorous training he went through for the show, which he found easily as he believes that life is like a “challenge and adventure every day”.

He adds, “Any role takes a lot of preparation, especially an action drama. [We went] through a lot of physical exercise that included real eating. We had several workshops with the cast and crew. I think the most important thing I did was wake up at 4:30 a.m. every morning for the show. That has never happened before. “

Whether he finds Ziddi Dil Maane Na similar to Left Right Left, Kunal has his own way of looking at it. “I was just getting started when this show happened. Back then it felt like I was still in college. Now 15 years have passed and my whole view of the craft has changed, ”he explains.
