Love Island stars Olivia and Alex Bowen have revealed the real reason kids are on hold.
It comes when they exclusively announced to Entertainment Daily that they had “lost days” during the lockdown.
As part of a team with sexual wellness brand LoveHoney, the couple spoke about the impact the lockdown had on their marriage.
The couple became the first Love Island star to get married when they tied the knot in September 2018 after meeting on the 2016 show.
What did Love Island stars Alex and Olivia say about babies?
Interviewed by ED! When Olivia started a family, she revealed the real reason kids are put on hold.
She said she was too “afraid” to even think about it because she just couldn’t stand the thought of going through a pregnancy without her mother by her side.

Olivia revealed, “We’ll just have to wait and see how it goes. We were thinking about having kids soon and we would love to have a family, but we are very busy with our careers right now.
I’m a pretty anxious person and because of the lockdown, I just don’t think I could make it without my mom around me.
“I’m a pretty scared person and because of the lockdown, I just don’t think I could do it without my mom being around.
“So we’ll wait until the world is back to normal,” she said.
Alex has big plans for his brood.
“I want two children,” he revealed.
“I’m an only child and I’ve always wanted a brother or sister.”
How are they doing in Lockdown?
Alex and Olivia also gave ED! A look into her lockdown life – and it wasn’t all easy to sail.
“Lockdown has been tough for everyone and we have lost days like any couple,” said Olivia.
She added, “You have to work in a relationship to keep it special.”

Alex continued, “We’re both half full so we’re both pretty good at staying positive.
“I’m so happy to be at home with Olivia. She is my dream companion with whom I can be at home. Hopefully, with the vaccines going so well, we’ll all get out of this lockdown soon. “
“Love Island worked for us”
However, the lovebirds are used to being locked up together after meeting at Villa Love Island.
And they took the opportunity to stand up against those who say meeting on a dating show is not the way to find love.
Alex said, “Well it definitely worked for us. I’m just as happy to see Olivia every day as I was when I first saw her at the villa. “
Though Alex has admitted that this isn’t necessarily the path to go for everyone.
“You can find love there, but it depends on the reasons you are on reality TV,” he added.
“People know what they’re going to get if they make it now, and they think their lives will change – and it’s a shame not all of them,” Alex continued.
“It’s like when people say it doesn’t work, all couples broke up, but how many couples broke up in the real world?” he added.
Valentine’s day plans
Just before Valentine’s Day, Alex and Olivia also revealed their top tips for showing your significant other how much you love them.
“My favorite way to say that I love you?” Alex thought. “I would say it with my mouth and you can take what you want!”
The cheeky couple also reflected on certain “activities” that were taking place in the villa.
“You have to be there to know how it feels,” said Alex.
“Love Island was a crazy experience for us. When you’re there, there isn’t really much to do. “
“Besides having sex,” Olivia cut in. “We were young then!”
Now the couple have new ways to maintain intimacy – away from the glare of the cameras.
Alex revealed, “Sex toys are a great way to create intimacy in the bedroom, especially in the current climate where we’re all stuck at home.”
She said, “It’s always a good idea to find new ways to have fun together. You’d be surprised how many couples have a little surprise in their bedside drawer.
“I think it’s really a way of keeping things fresh.”
