Madeleine McCann’s parents have shared their renewed belief that she will be found after hearing the story of a kidnapped boy who was reunited with his family after 24 years.
The story, which the post passes on to the Facebook group Find Madeleine, seems to reinforce Kate and Gerry McCann’s belief that their daughter will be found.
Madeleine disappeared in Portugal 14 years ago when she was just three years old.
Her parents went to a local restaurant for dinner, and when they returned after leaving their three children unattended, Madeleine was gone.
She has not been seen since.
What gave Kate and Gerry McCann new hope?
Kate and Gerry keep their supporters informed of their efforts to find Madeleine on her official Facebook page.
Earlier this week they shared a story that clearly gave them new hope.

It told the story of a Chinese toddler who went missing more than two decades ago.
Thanks to new breakthroughs in DNA technology, the boy – now a teacher – was reunited with his father.
The father did not give up hope of finding his boy alive and searched thousands of kilometers from outside their home for over two decades after his abduction.
The fact that the family was reunited 24 years after the kidnapping of the then toddler gives Kate and Gerry new hope as they keep searching for Madeleine.
