He said, “A friend of mine who has had gastric band surgery and is a general practitioner advised me not to go this route because it would be of no use to me.

He was suspected of COVID last year

Mark explained how he managed to lose weight.

It all started, he said when he was knocked down on suspicion of COVID last year.

“I just didn’t want to eat anything for a fortnight,” he said.

“As a pretty tall guy, the weight falls off you in this scenario. I think it almost got it started.

“But there is a combination of things. I eat a high protein diet and eat a lot of lean meat.

“As much as I love chips and other carbohydrates, I have a lot less than before.

“It has become a virtuous cycle. I don’t feel that hungry so you’re losing weight so you’re not that hungry. “

He also admitted walking around after his three-year-old helped with weight loss as well.
