Martin Lewis was confused after Phillip Schofield insisted he swear

That morning star Martin Lewis didn’t seem to notice after Phillip Schofield accused him of swearing on the show.

The 48-year-old money-saving expert appeared on today’s show (Feb.11) to provide financial advice and guidance to viewers.

However, when answering a request from 70-year-old Dawn, Martin seemed to swear.

What did Martin Lewis say that morning?

The concerned viewer had asked for advice on fraudulent websites.

While renewing her driver’s license, Dawn found she was overwhelmed after being directed to another website.

Martin went on to explain that the websites are usually “Shyster” pages.

But the financial guru slipped when he pronounced the word “site”.

He explained, “I call these sites shyster sites, they are basically legal. You will see them for passports, visa applications, driver’s licenses and the DVLA.

“These companies advertise on top of official search terms and have a website that looks legitimate but never claims to be the official source. Instead, they offer to process things for an additional fee that you could have gotten for free or at a set base price.

Apparently, according to Phillip, I just swore that morning. Still, I have no idea what I said

“I think this [bleep] are outrageous so I call them shyster sites, and don’t worry, this is not a dirty word so we’re fine. “

Phil, giggling at the time, said, “The word you said earlier was however.”

Martin later used social media to deal with the incident – and didn’t seem to notice!

He wrote: “Apparently, according to Phillip, I just swore by @thismorning. Still, I have no idea what I said. “

In a separate tweet, Martin stated, “As I noted earlier, Shyster is not a dirty word. Phillip suggested I swore earlier. The general view is that maybe I said web [bleep] accidentally instead of websites. “

Some followers were quick to point out the incident, while others hadn’t even noticed.
