Emmerdale star Mike Parr joked that he was considering a role in an adult movie after acting dried up.
The actor, who played Ross Barton on ITV soap, posted a direct message he received on Instagram.
The message read, “Mike hello. Would you be interested in a porn opportunity with a UK based, professionally run company with a large market share?
“If so, get in touch and I will send you the details. The company is based in London, which is where you are. Many Thanks.”
Mike titled the post: “(Ross Gellar voice) I’ll take it! After a year without a job, this actually seems like the only option I have left. “
His former Emmerdale co-stars commented on the post.
Kelvin Fletcher, who played Andy Sugden, wrote, “Why not?”

Amy Walsh, who plays Tracy Metcalfe, commented on laughing emojis, then joked by saying, “I’ll give you a five dollar refund.”

Mike played Ross Barton in Emmerdale from 2013 to 2018.
Ross was the nephew (by marriage) of Moira Dingle, the son of James Barton and the brother of Pete and Finn.
Ross left the village in 2018 with his girlfriend Rebecca and their son Seb.
However, Ross is still mentioned as his son Moses still lives in the village with his mother Charity and the little boy visits his father regularly.
What has Mike Parr done since leaving Emmerdale?
After leaving Emmerdale, Mike played Ben Woodall in the second series of the TV series Bulletproof.
Since leaving, fans have urged Ross to return to the village.
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7 p.m. on ITV, Thursdays at 8 p.m. with an additional episode.
