Gogglebox is the feel-good series that features everyday families settling down for a night on TV.
Despite its relatively innocent premise, this Channel 4 show has seen some serious scandal and shock outcomes in its time.
Here we take a look at the most surprising outcomes and shots so far …
From the goggle box to the UKIP
One of the first gogglebox families to be deleted had a rather unexpected reason.
Andrew Michael of the Michaels family decided to run for UKIP MP.
The budding politician ran for Hastings and Rye in 2014.
The family was booted from the show because of his political move.
However, he could not be elected and soon gave up his short-lived political career.
And the family was back on Gogglebox in September 2015!

Andrew told The sun At the time he was partially giving up his ambitions so his family could be back on the popular show.
He said, “I have a responsibility to make my family happy after they supported me last fall.
“That was a big deal for us. They supported me then, so it’s my time to support them now. “
Steph and Dom Parker
Steph and Dom Parker were utterly popular for their drunken television watching.
This posh couple was almost always delighted when they offered their television reflections.

They even had their own special hosting former UKIP leader Nigel Farage.
The couple ran a hotel from their posh home and mysteriously abandoned Gogglebox after four years on the show.
Fans were horrified, but they left in 2016 to work on other projects.
Not only did they run their stunning bed and breakfast, but they also appeared on a number of other reality and competitive shows.
This included Celebrity Masterchef, The Jump, Hunted, and performing regularly that morning.
Unfortunately, her hotel, The Salutation, went bankrupt last year and 33 employees were unemployed.
The Essex-based Gilbey family were a quick favorite when they joined the franchise in the second series.
However, their stay was short-lived when son George entered the Celebrity Big Brother home in 2014.
A Channel 4 producer said the family was drawn to the Channel 5 paycheck at the time.
And George even made it to the finals.
But they were allowed to join again in 2016 despite the CBB appearance.
In 2018, George was found guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend in a drunken rage.
George has since been embroiled in another controversy, serving three months in prison in 2019.
The reality star was found driving drinks after being caught almost three times over the limit.
He no longer appears on the show, but his parents are still part of the Gogglebox family.
Scarlett Moffatt is without a doubt the most famous gogglebox star.
But she pushed her entire family off the show in 2016 when she appeared on I’m A Celebrity. Get me out of here!
Thankfully it was a big gamble that paid off – when she won the series.
This led to her appearing as a presenter on Saturday night and co-hosting a spin-off for I’m A Celebrity.
Despite reportedly amassing a multi-million pound fortune, her fame has not been without scandal.
She and her family starred on Channel 4’s The British Tribe Next Door in 2019.
Here she lived with her family in a replica of their house next to a tribe in Namibia.
This sparked outcry of racism in the press and received 65 Ofcom complaints.
Meanwhile, the year before, Scarlett had to admit that her best-selling weight loss DVD was a sham.
The star dropped three stones, but an exposé showed that she had not achieved the impressive loss simply through DVD training.
Rather, she had secretly participated in a tough boot camp retreat in Switzerland before filming.
Since then, she has spoken of her regrets on DVD and is happy with its current size.
