Nancy Carter returns with Maddy Hill and repeats her role

EastEnders has announced that Maddy Hill will return to BBC soap as Nancy Carter.

Nancy will return to Walford after nearly five years, to the surprise of the Carter family.

Her parents Mick and Linda will certainly be delighted with her arrival. But what brings you back to Albert Square from New Zealand?

Commenting on the return to BBC Soap, Maddy said, “I’m really excited to come back and reconnect with all of the fun, warm, talented cast and crew and meet some lovely new faces.

“I absolutely loved playing Nancy and have often wondered what she was up to. I am very grateful that I have rediscovered her after 5 years.”

EastEnders Executive Producer Jon Sen said, “We’re very excited to have Maddy back and I can’t wait for the audience to see what Nancy is waiting for.

“Her return is very enigmatic as she returns to a family that has had a difficult year – things are definitely not the way Nancy left them.

“Maddy is a fantastic actress and we are very lucky to have her back in Walford.”
