Who was Natalie Hemming?
Mother of three Natalie had lived in Milton Keynes with her partner Paul Hemming since 2007.
Though 31-year-old Natalie and Paul never married, she has adopted her partner’s last name.
In May 2016, Natalie went missing after leaving her mother’s home in Hemel Hempstead.
Two days later, the alarm was raised and her disappearance reported.

Her body was then found three weeks later, 30 miles away in Hertfordshire.
After a thorough investigation, Paul Hemming was found guilty – he beat her to death in the couple’s living room when their children slept upstairs.
Why did Natalie Hemming’s partner Paul murder you?
Natalie had told Paul that she would leave him and meet someone else.
The documentary shows touching shots of Natalie and her new lover enjoying each other.
A friend told the police, “She looked for that affection and told me what an amazing night she had the night before.
She searched for that affection and told me what an amazing night she had had the night before.
“She went out with Simon on Saturday night after meeting him at work.
“It must have taken a lot of courage to get up and leave.”
When Paul heard about her new lover, he struck hard.
In fact, in the past, Paul Hemming had physically abused Natalie during their relationship, incidents she reported to the police.
How did he try to cover up his crime?
After beating Natalie to death in her living room, he wrapped her body and drove 30 miles to throw her body into woods.
When he returned home, he told his children that their mother had left the house before they got up.
Then he took her to Whipsnade Zoo for a holiday.
Paul Hemming also took extraordinary measures to keep the police off of his odor, even texting Natalie’s phone after she disappeared to let her know how concerned he was.
And during the investigation, his lies continued – he claimed her new boyfriend raped her.
Where does Paul Hemming catch a murderer in prison?
During the trial, Paul Hemming admitted manslaughter, but not murder.
However, the jury found him guilty and sentenced him to life imprisonment.

He left the dock and said to Natalie’s mother and two sisters, “I’ve enjoyed every minute.”
Paul Hemming is currently serving a minimum sentence of 20 years in prison.
