After Sandeep Mohan pampers audiences with captivating films like Hola Venky, Shreelancer and Love, Wrinkle-free, he is ready to release another marquee film called Nirmal Anand Ki Puppy. A roller coaster ride that explores the nuances of an urban relationship with Karanveer Khullar, Gillian Pinto, Khushboo Upadhyay, Salmin Sheriff and Vipin Heero. The film is preparing for a theatrical release on April 17. beforeNS September 2021 in selected multiplexes in all cities.
The film is ready to begin its Pan India journey starting with a screening in Chandigarh on September 17th in Cinepolis, followed by further screenings in Cinepolis, New Delhi on September 18th.NS September, in Calcutta on 24NS September at the Cinepolis, Acropolis Mall, in Bangalore at the Cinepolis on 25NS September. A number of screenings are also planned in Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Gurugram, Jaipur, Ambala, Jalandhar, Surat and other cities.
During the screening in each city, animal lovers, animal rescue and shelter groups, and veterinarians – the unsung heroes of this pandemic era – are also specially invited. The film is unique in that it was written by the first Man Dog writer duo Sandeep Mohan and his beloved dog Hermione.
The film has background music by Vivek Philip and includes songs by Kunal Kundu, Andrew Sloman and Vipin Heero, among others. The character-oriented film is being produced by Giju John and Sandeep Mohan together with associate producers Francis Varghese and Abhilash Nanda.

Nirmal Anand Ki Puppy, a 100-minute feature film that revolves around an urban middle-class family in Mumbai who struggle to get their lives back on track after their beloved pet disappears. Without your pup’s calming balm in their busy and mundane city life, minor stimuli previously ignored in their relationship begin to act in a way that threatens the very foundation of their marriage.
Nirmal Anand Ki Puppy was shot over a period of 21 days and promises to be a heartwarming experience for its audience. The film had its World Film Festival premiere at the IndoGerman Filmweek-Berlin in July 2019. The film has also been shown at various film festivals, including the Washington DC Film Festival (DCSAFF) and the Jagran Film Festival.
At DCSAFF, the author duo Mensch-Hund successfully won the Best Screenwriting Award. It was also recognized as the best film (audience award) at the Indic Filmotsav. The film was also shown in San Jose at the prestigious Cinequest Film Festival, in Toronto at the IFFSA Film Festival, in Amsterdam & Sydney at the Lift-Off Film Festival and various other film festivals.
