Ofcom receives “1,500 complaints” about Dr. Hilary on Covid-19

GMB is following recent remarks by Dr. Hilary Jones has become the target of over 1,000 viewer complaints.

The ITV show’s family doctor upset many at home during a debate over leaflets he called the “COVID hoax”.

Dr. Hilary warned viewers about the bright yellow flyers when they appeared on the show in early November.

The TV health expert held up the yellow leaflet and said to presenters Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley: “Just be aware of fake letters, which are utter nonsense.”

“This is misinformation … It looks like a UK government reporting system for reporting side effects on any type of drug or vaccine, but this pretends to talk about all types of reactions to the vaccines that are counterfeit and counterfeit.”

Richard then replied, “So it’s an anti-vaccine …”

What Dr. Hilary interjected: “Yes, absolutely. And this would dangerously deter many people from the vaccine because it is a complete misinformation. “

Richard then tore up the brochure and encouraged viewers to do the same if they received the same card.

Susanna and Richard then both laughed when Dr. Hilary got a pen that donated hand sanitizer.

Thousands are complaining to Ofcom about the GMB segment

As a result of the segment, over 1,000 angry viewers rushed to share their complaints with television watchdog Ofcom.

According to The Sun, a total of 1,540 complaints have been filed about the segment.

Ofcom said complaints were “related to a discussion of the coronavirus yellow card reporting system”.

At the time, many viewers rushed to social media to hear about Dr. Complain Hilary.

Those who hit back on the show claimed the doctor was ignoring those who suffered a “vaccine injury.”

“To deny, disregard and disregard victims of vaccination violations is pure evil,” grumbled one viewer.

A second tweeted, “No humanity, compassion or empathy. Just pure contempt. Complain to Ofcom ”.

“After Richard and Dr. Hillary tore the yellow card on the air, I’m done, ”complained a third.
