Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana, who is currently filming for his next ANEK in Assam, directed by Anubhav Sinha, is overwhelmed by the love he has received in the northeast. Every day around 40-50 people from neighboring villages flock to the sets to meet Ayushmann and wish him all the best for ANEK. Affectionately known as the figurehead of content cinema in India for his cluttered, unique films and roles, the eclectic actor is clearly immersed in the fandom his hard work has created.
Ayushmann says: “I am really overwhelmed by the love I get from the people here in the northeast. I met everyone who was kind enough to come to our sets to wish me luck for ANEK. It was humbling to know they love my craft and my theatrical brand, and I have interacted with them whenever possible during breaks and after the wrap. The warmth I received from the people here will always stay with me and motivate me to do better and to better entertain my country. “
