Paul Gascoigne has revealed that he was “quite fond of” Gary Lineker when the two first became teammates.
In addition, 53-year-old footie legend Gazza compared the host of the Match of the Day to a “ladyboy”.
The revelations came on a podcast where Gazza shared his career, addiction, and family relationships.
What did Paul Gascoigne say about Gary Lineker?
Gazza played for north London club Tottenham Hotspur in the late 1980s.
When Gary joined the club in 1989, they already knew each other when they played for England.
However, father of three Gazza revealed on the James podcast that he was “quite fond” of Gary.

“I remember when we signed Gary, I imagined him very much, he had no hair on his body,” he admitted.
“I remember saying, ‘Lineker, you’re like one [bleeping] Ladyboy. ‘He just laughed. “
Paul was playing practical jokes about Gary
Gazza also described the practical jokes he played with 60-year-old Gary.
He said he parked his car in Gary’s driveway while partying in London.
After each time, Gary got a parking ticket.
It got to the point that Spurs’ bosses had to ask him to stop because Gary was “angry”.

Folk hero Gazza became a star thanks to his skills in the field and notorious for his practical jokes.
Paul played for clubs such as Newcastle United, Spurs, Lazio and Rangers and played leading roles for England in the 1990 World Cup and 1996 European Championship.
After retiring from the game, addiction problems began to take hold and the star spent the ensuing years in a high-profile struggle to stay sober.
