Friday Night Dinner star Paul Ritter died of a brain tumor at the age of 54.

The actor Harry Potter and Vera unfortunately died on Monday evening (April 5th), his agent confirmed in a statement.

It read: “It is with great sadness that we can confirm that Paul Ritter passed away last night.

“He died peacefully at home with his wife Polly and sons Frank and Noah by his side. He was 54 years old and had a brain tumor.

“Paul was an exceptionally talented actor who played an enormous variety of roles on stage and on screen with extraordinary skill.

“He was incredibly intelligent, nice and very funny. We will miss him very much. “

Fans have started paying tribute to Paul on Twitter.
