Chris Whitty was caught on camera when he was physically abused by two strangers in St. James Park, London, a shocking abuse that has appalled the nation.

They grabbed and pulled on him, and at some point they tried to put him in a headlock.
Amid much public excitement, singer and reality TV star Peter Andre, 48, hit the perpetrators.
In fact, he went on Twitter to share his disgust for the act and shared his sympathy for Whitty.

Pete reached out to his Twitter followers and tweeted, “Not a lot of things pissed me off, but that’s disgusting. That poor man.
Many of Peter’s followers seemed to fully agree with the Mysterious Girl singer’s views.

One user replied: “Me too, Peter, I was so excited this morning. If I had witnessed that, I should have intervened. Disgusting ….. Handsome, smart man … Xxx. “
While another user tweeted, “Poor guy, not the first time he’s been pointlessly humiliated. I felt sick because he saw it. I hope that both of these have consequences for their deed or stupidity. “
A third user argued, “Seeing this really pissed me off and made me angry at the same time. What has happened that this poor man can’t even walk in the park. Like him or not, he doesn’t deserve it. I hope they all get caught and punished. “

What did the police say about the Chris Whitty attack?
The police are now investigating the incident, and the professor may even receive police protection in the future.
The Metropolitan Police made the following statement: “We are aware that a video is being shared online showing an incident in St. James’s Park. The officers spoke to everyone involved at the time and recorded their information.
“We are in contact with the victim and the circumstances are being investigated further.”
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Boris Johnson tweeted his own disgust over the incident.
He said, “I am shocked to see the despicable harassment from Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty.
“I condemn the behavior of these thugs. Our hardworking officials shouldn’t have to face this kind of intimidation on our streets and we won’t tolerate it. “
Finally, Labor leader Keir Starmer also went to Twitter: “This is disgusting behavior.
“Chris Whitty is a dedicated civil servant who has worked tirelessly to get us through this crisis.
“The police are right to investigate this harassment.”
