As India prepares to host its first ever music league, which this month will see music teams compete in a sports championship league format featuring Zee TV’s Indian Pro Music League, all of the show-affiliated stars came together to film for them big premiere of the revolutionary reality music show. For the uninitiated, six teams are supported by Bollywood biggies in the Indian Pro Music League – Shraddha Kapoor, Govinda, Rajkummar Rao, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia, Bobby Deol and cricketer Suresh Raina compete for the mega trophy.
The teams, which represent different regions of India, have star singers like Asees Kaur, Mika, Akriti Kakar, Shaan, Neha Bhasin, Sajid Wajid, Shilpa Rao, Kailash Kher, Bhoomi Trivedi, Javed Ali, Payal Dev and Ankit Tiwari as team captains. An aspiring reality star and a new voice will complete the team of four singers who will compete against the others. In addition to the starred list of ambassadors and team members, India’s greatest superstar – Salman Khan – is the IPML brand ambassador. The show, produced by Fathom Pictures, will air on Zee TV starting February 26th at 8pm.

Many of these celebrities did their best at the green opening ceremony of the Indian Pro Music League and had a gala time like never before! The Gujarat Rockers ambassador – Rajkummar Rao – graced the green carpet and looked elegant in a regal black outfit.
On the other hand, the Delhi Jammers ambassadors – Shraddha Kapoor and Siddhanth Kapoor – looked gorgeous together as they paired up in black outfits with blingy trimmings.
Punjab Lions and UP ke Dabbangs ambassadors, Bobby Deol and Suresh Raina, looked dashing in black and gold suits and black pants.
Team captains Mika (Punjab Lions), Shaan (Bengal Tigers), Sajid-Wajid (Delhi Jammers), Kailash Kher (Mumbai Warriors) and Javed Ali (Gujarat Rockers) also performed elegantly and stylishly on the green carpet.
The hosts Karan Wahi and Waluscha De Sousa also appeared glamorous and looked forward to the start of filming.
However, it was the Indian Pro Music League brand ambassador – Salman Khan who took the green carpet by storm when he walked in in a black t-shirt and bell-bottomed blue jeans.
After elegant appearances on the green carpet, the artists had a great time for the Indian Pro Music League premiere when they all gathered under one roof. All the stars took the stage, sang and danced to happy tunes and made sure the opening ceremony would be an episode to watch out for!
