Piers, who spent most of the day on Twitter criticizing Mr Johnson, soon agreed with the trailer.
“It would,” he said. “And I’m still technically under contract to showcase @GMB.”
What did he say about the government before?
The former host became known for criticizing the government for its approach and response to the coronavirus pandemic when it first swept the nation in March 2020.
There was no government minister on the show for 201 days as Piers constantly took over the powers.
In November 2020, reporter Nick Dixon asked Health Secretary Matt Hancock why he withdrew from the program.
Soon after, Mr. Hancock appeared live on the show, denying there was a boycott.
Piers had previously described the government as “gutless little wiesies”.
