Piers Morgan and Dan Walker “bury the hatchet” and tease the TV collaboration

Piers Morgan and Dan Walker seemingly buried the hatchet by bumping into each other on the golf course.

Additionally, the former GMB presenter, 56, teased a breakfast TV collaboration.

What did Piers Morgan and Dan Walker do today?

Piers and BBC Breakfast host Dan, 44, were known to have been embroiled in an ongoing Twitter feud.

However, the two buried the hatchet after they collided today (Friday 11 June) in Wentworth.

A tanned pier accompanied Dan for a selfie and they both smiled at the camera.

And Piers teased a breakfast TV mash-up of the two shows.

On Instagram he titled the picture: “Planning our new show … ‘Good Morning BBC Breakfast Britain’ #DreamTeam #Wentworth.”

What did Dan share on social media?

Dan also recorded the momentous moment by tweeting the same picture, plus piers on the tee ready to go on a ride.

He said, “Can’t believe it… show up at Wentworth and guess who’s up in the group ???? Yes … @piersmorgan. “

Dan couldn’t resist attacking his rival in the next tweet.

He filmed Piers’ drive and was delighted when he loosened his shot.

Dan chuckled, “And … crucial … he delivered the goods #Shanksville.”

Piers was then seen cursing loudly and pounding his bat on the grass.

Why were Piers and Dan at odds?

Just two days ago, Piers mocked Dan for his sincere tribute to BBC Breakfast co-host Louise Minchin, who quit the show after 20 years.

“Stop chatting Dan – I’ll start Monday,” he said.

“The BBC wanted the guy who beat you in the ratings and the first same-sex male breakfast presentation team to appease the wokies.”

Piers previously described Dan as “nasty work” and “gentle” when it comes to interviews with politicians.

Dan has also insidiously attacked his rival on social media.
