Piers Morgan paid tribute to his wife on Valentine’s Day but couldn’t resist giving vegans a cheeky nudge.
The GMB star is known for his aversion to plant-based diets.
In the past, he spat out a vegan sausage roll from Gregg on Good Morning Britain, and he’s also banned horns with many vegan activists on the show.
What did Piers Morgan say about his wife on Instagram?
On Valentine’s Day, however, you’d expect the star to take center stage on his gorgeous wife, Celia Walden.
The couple tied the knot in 2010.
But it turns out that even on the most romantic day of the year, he can’t stop pissing off vegans.
In a post dedicated to his wife, Piers wrote: “On Valentine’s Day, my best romantic tip is to find someone who shares your eating habits. # NoVegansInThisHouse “.
The picture he posted shows his wife chewing a double-stacked beef burger.
Piers Morgan versus vegans
Last year, Piers got into a heated debate over plant-based burgers with his co-star Susanna Reid.
Piers confessed that he can’t stick to vegans who use the word “burger”.

“Look in the dictionary, a burger is a meat product, just like a sausage. Why do vegans want to use our language? “He complained.
Susanna replied: “What do you mean by ‘our language’? Can we use the word food or is that your language?
“Burger is not a description of meat,” Piers called back, “It is!”
“You hate meat so much that you want to label your products after meat products. Why? Why? ”He asked.
Susanna then said: “Wait a minute, it’s not a meat burger. It’s just a burger. “
Piers concluded by saying: “No! A burger and a sausage are meat products. Make your own language! Call them Planties and see how you handle them. “
The GMB star’s first run-in with vegans took place in 2019.

He went wild at Gregg’s bakery chain after they brought a vegan sausage roll to market.
At the time he called them “PC-ravaged clowns”.
Despite his abuse, they became one of the best-selling products in the bakery chain. Sorry Piers!
