What did the fans say?
Some of Piers’ fans spotted Alex Beresford, who bumped into Piers on the show this week, in the picture.
The couple’s spitting on the show sparked heated debate and resulted in Piers walking off the set.
One said, “Where is Alex in the photo?”, While another added, “Where is Alex?”
A third wrote, “Sir, did you brush Alex out of this photo?”
One tweeted, “Funny how Alex Beresford is missing in this picture, you’re so mature and grown up Piers.”
Meanwhile, ITV confirmed that Piers resigned from the show on Tuesday.
It came after Ofcom said it was investigating Piers’ comments on the Duchess of Sussex after thousands of complaints.
During the interview, Meghan said she was suicidal while pregnant with Archie, claiming there were “concerns and talks” about how dark Archie’s skin color might be when he was born into the royal family.
However, Piers said on GMB that he didn’t believe a word Meghan said in the interview.
After leaving the show, Piers was on Twitter for his comments.

He wrote: “On Monday I said I didn’t believe Meghan Markle in her Oprah interview.
“I’ve had time to ponder that opinion, and I still don’t. If you’ve done that, OK. Freedom of expression is a hill I like to die on.
“Thank you for all the love and hate. I’m on my way to spend more time with my opinions. “
