Prince Charles, Prince William or their wives “made Archie skin comments”

In one of the most shocking moments of the Meghan Markle and Prince Harry interview, she claimed there were “concerns and talks” about how dark Archie’s skin color might be when he was born into the royal family.

This morning, ITV News Royal editor Chris Ship narrowed down who could have made such comments – with four people in the frame.

Speaking to Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid of Good Morning Britain, Chris said, “It was a conversation Harry had with one of his family members.

“I should be clear here, I’ve been told it’s not the Queen or the Duke of Edinburgh. That leaves only two family members.

“It’s my job to find out things, I won’t reveal my sources.

“The two people you have left are either his father, Prince Charles, or his brother, Prince William. Or their wives.

“That’s pretty serious, that’s kind of where it’s left over.

Meanwhile, Piers Morgan has requested Meghan and Harry name names and say if it was Charles or William they would not be eligible to be King.

What did Meghan say about Archie?

She told Oprah, “During those months I was pregnant, we had conversations about the lack of security and titles, and we were worried about how dark his skin might be when he was born. “

Oprah then asked, “Who is having this conversation with you?”

Meghan specifically refused to say, commenting, “I think that would harm them.”

She stated that these comments were made about her husband.

“I was told that by Harry, these were conversations the family had with him,” she said.

“And I think it was really difficult to see these as segmented conversations.

Oprah asked if there was any concern that her child was “too tanned” and that this was a problem.

Meghan replied, “If that’s the assumption you’re making, it’s a pretty safe one.”
