In Prince Philip’s latest news, a royal expert revealed why Prince Charles visited his father in the hospital.
The Prince of Wales visited Philip, 99, in hospital on Saturday (February 20) after the Duke of Edinburgh was admitted last Tuesday.
Philip lived in King Edward VII’s Hospital for Observation and Rest and his condition is not related to COVID-19.

According to expert Duncan L.Arcombe, Charles visited Philip “on behalf of the rest of the family”.

He told Entertainment Daily exclusively, “Prince Charles visited his father on behalf of the rest of the family.
“Although the Duke of Edinburgh is not in critical condition, he is older and everyone is concerned.”
Furthermore, Duncan added, “However, he did a 200 mile round trip …
“… and must have known that some people would question his actions in the lockdown shows that no one takes Philip’s health for granted.”
Prince Charles visited his father on behalf of the rest of the family.
Meanwhile, royal fans expressed concern on Saturday after Charles visited his father.
The hospital said visitors can only visit under “exceptional circumstances”.
In more positive news, however, Charles later returned to Highgrove House 100 miles away after his visit.
Buckingham Palace previously said Philip was in a good mood and was going to the hospital as a “precautionary measure” after feeling unwell for a few days.
The Queen has reportedly stayed at Windsor Castle, where she and Philip were isolated during the lockdown.

Meanwhile, Philip’s Sunday was the sixth night in the hospital.
Sources have said the Duke will likely stay in the hospital for the next few days to “watch and rest”.
