Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may never be able to restore their relationship with the royal family, Lorraine Kelly said.
The ITV host shared her thoughts on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s upcoming interview with Oprah Winfrey.
In a recent look at the chat, Meghan suggested that “The Firm” perpetuated “falsehoods” about himself and Harry.

In an article for The sunLorraine wrote: “Meghan and Harry destroyed their relationship with his family.

“I honestly don’t see how you will ever be able to repair the damage caused by the bombing Oprah interview this weekend.”
She added, “All families have fights, but this is going to be World War III.”
Meanwhile, Lorraine claimed “if you attack The Firm you are essentially attacking the Queen”, which she termed “crossing the line”.
However, the star said she hoped the couple would “take the opportunity to express their admiration for the queen” when Prince Philip is hospitalized.
She also added that her interview “could backfire” and that she “will regret trying to settle points and burn down all those royal bridges”.
The full interview will air on Monday March 8th in the UK on ITV.

On Friday, CBS – which will air the interview in America – released a clip of Meghan in which she feels “liberated” that she can now make decisions on her own.
When asked why now is the right time to do the interview, Meghan said, “Well, so many things.
“That we are on the other side of many life experiences and that we have the opportunity to make our own decisions.

“It’s really liberating, in some ways, to have the right and privileges to say, ‘Yes, I’m ready to talk. ‘
“To be able to just make a choice and speak for yourself.”
Oprah with Meghan and Harry will air on ITV Monday March 8th at 9 p.m.
