News from the ‘Ton! Netflix has confirmed that Bridgerton’s world will expand with the fabulous making of Queen Charlotte.
Golda Rosheuvel’s character is a fan favorite. Her royal presence sets the who’s who standard of London’s elite.
But now we’re about to discover her kinky backstory that led to her marriage to her beloved King George III.
When announcing the one-time series, Netflix said, “Everyone hail the Queen!
“We are pleased to announce that we are adding a limited edition series to the Bridgerton universe that tells the story of Queen Charlotte’s making.
“The series will also feature young Violet Bridgerton and young Lady Danbury.”
However, don’t expect too much from a happy ending – for despite their love, the king’s memory of the events of the Bridgerton season fails him.
He can only be seen in one heartbreaking scene with Queen Charlotte meanwhile he forgets the death of her daughter Amelia and accuses her.
We don’t currently know tSpin-off title or release date … but we’re ready and waiting for announcements.
What is the latest news on Bridgerton Season Two?
Bridgerton season two is currently being filmed, however Netflix has yet to confirm a release date.
However, Regé-Jean Page, the lead actor of the first season, The Duke, will not appear in the new episodes after he finds love for Daphne Bridgerton.
Instead, the second season focuses on Daphne’s brother Anthony (Jonathan Bailey).
