Unforgettable Series Four Episode Two: Where’s the Rest of the Body?

In the second episode of the fourth series of Unforgotten, DCI Cassie Stuart and DS Sunny Khan compose the life of a murder victim last seen more than 30 years ago.

The headless, handless body of Matthew Walsh was discovered in the opening episode.

But where are his hands, feet and head?

Police officers conduct an extensive search for the missing body parts, but find nothing – nothing but a mysterious bunch of keys …

Are Liz Baildon and Ram Sidhu bent copper?

There are clearly four specific people who were connected to the dead man who were in the car with him the night he disappeared.

Cassie and Sunny identify four potential suspects who were trained together as police officers, and two of them are still serving as officers.

That includes Susan Lynch’s character Liz Baildon – a woman at the top of her career ladder.

She is ready for a promotion to a top job with the East Anglian Police.

Ram, played by Phaldut Sharma, is a deputy cop and clearly has an evil lead.

He is charged with inappropriate behavior but threatens racial discrimination if charged.

Could any of them have “buried evidence”?

DS Sunny Khan notes that many reports were not followed up and that there are gaps in the files …

However, we also discovered that Liz White’s character Fiona had a copper for a father – could he have manipulated evidence to help his daughter?

Unforgettable series four, episode two: What’s wrong with Ram’s baby?

Ram’s wife Anna is pregnant with their child, but the scan showed something was wrong.

In the second episode, Anna does blood tests and it is clear that the couple have a big decision to make.

What’s wrong with Ram and Anna’s unborn baby?

Does Liz’s mother Eileen know the truth?

Liz is repeatedly undermined by her poisonous and demanding mother, Eileen, played by Sheila Hancock.

But does Eileen know something we don’t know?

Eileen talks to her supervisor about her daughter and spat: “Do you think butter won’t melt?

“I could tell you a thing or two about Elizabeth that would turn your hair gray.”

She later tells her daughter Liz that she has “steel balls” to apply for the position of chief constable at work.

What’s wrong with Cassie’s father Martin?

At home, Cassie struggles with her increasingly bellicose father (Peter Egan), who seems determined to leave everything to his new girlfriend in his will.

Is she a gold digger who manipulates the sick man?

In the fourth season, Martin has an early onset of dementia.

This causes him to develop depression and affect his relationship with Cassie.

We were told, “Cassie’s relationship with John is strong, but she also has difficult times with her son who has moved home and her father Martin, who is struggling with early dementia.”

Is Matthew Walsh’s son involved?

Matthew Walsh’s closest relative is his son Jerome.

He doesn’t seem to have an emotional reaction to the news of his father’s death.

Cassie visits him but he reveals that he never met his father and the only contact he has is his uncle Clive.

Why did Dean and Fiona leave the police?

Both Dean and Fiona left the police shortly after the “fainting spell” – also known as the “graduation”.

Dean within months and Fiona after a year.

Did they leave because they committed a crime and couldn’t live with the guilt?

Now Fiona works for Family Counseling Services, and Dean runs his own business – but appears to be blackmailed into doing shady business on the side.

What is this all about?

Does Cassie get any points?

Cassie discovers that two of the suspects are still with the police and vows to investigate them like she would any other suspect.

However, Sunny accuses her of scoring points.

Cassie replies, “There’s a small part of me who wants to punish someone – Andrews, the Met, sometimes the world.

“If we do that after the book, all questions [in my mind] could go away – because of Walker, Finch – and I could sleep at night. “

Unforgotten series four episode two will be broadcast on Monday, March 1st, 2021 at 9 p.m. on ITV1.
