Susanna Reid spoke about the terminal condition she suffers from before appearing in The Real Manhunt: The Night Stalker.
In the ITV documentary, the moderator will interview senior police officers who worked on Operation Minstead.
They’ll share their version of the 17 year old hunt to find the serial rapist named The Night Stalker.
Delroy Grant began his reign of terror in 1990 and is believed to have raped and sexually abused up to 200 elderly people.
Susanna will appear with DCI Colin Sutton, who is credited with capturing Grant just weeks after joining the investigation.

In 2015, Good Morning Britain co-host said, “When I first started hearing it, which was probably about 10 years ago, I was quite saddened that I would never hear silence again.”
She spoke about it for the first time in 2013.
Susanna, 50, believes her condition was the result of “difficult labor” as she began to suffer after the birth of her son Finn, now 17 years old.
And in 2018 Susanna tweeted: “My tinnitus is so loud right now. The sound you heard at the end of the day when the television programs were over? That. In my head.”
What does tinnitus sound like?
The tones can always be the same or differ.
They can be low, medium, high, or a combination of all three.
Susanna talked about hearing different noises during her day.
One described it as “the sound of the incoming tide, the kind of background noise a television makes when it flashes”.

She said another is “more like the pounding of your heart or, if you hear it for a long time, like a hammer”.
She added, “What could be called the worst form is this high-pitched noise that comes and goes.”
The moderator insists that she has a “very mild” form of tinnitus
What Usually Causes Tinnitus?
Causes are hearing loss, ear infections, an accumulation of ear wax and diseases such as Menière’s disease, sticky ear or a perforated eardrum.
Tinnitus can also be caused by traumatic experiences or stress from key life milestones.
This can be a move, a death or, as with Susanna, a traumatic birth.
Susanna has three sons with former BBC sports reporter Dominic Cotton.
They are Sam, 19, Finn, 17 and 16 year old Jack.
The two have their children together and lived together even after the separation.
As for the current romance, Susanna was last seen in July with her on / off boyfriend, Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish.
It is not known whether they are currently together.
Is tinnitus really an incurable disease?
There is no “cure” for the disorder, although some people benefit from treatments.
These can include cognitive behavioral therapy and sound therapy.
Organizations such as The British Tinnitus Association work hard on a cure.
The Real Manhunt: The Night Stalker, hosted by Susanna Reid, will air on ITV at 9 p.m. tonight.
