Robin from Stranger Things lands her own spin-off ahead of season four

Netflix has announced that Stranger Things is expanding – with Maya Hawke’s character Robin getting her own spin-offs.

Viewers didn’t meet the character until season three, but she’s already a fan favorite and a key member of the Scoops Troop.

But when she’s not selling ice cream, Robin seems to be busy – and is way ahead of her time by starting a podcast.

Surviving Hawkins is a six-part special series in which Robin interviews her schoolmates as they talk about the bizarre goings on around Hawkins High.

The episodes will tie directly to a book, Rebel Robin, which is also about her.

In October 1983, two years before she hit the main course, she overheard talking to someone about the missing Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) and that Hawkins was a “monster”.

The episodes will be released on June 29th.
