Emmerdale star Ryan Hawley has welcomed a baby with his wife, former co-star Isobel Steele has revealed.
Ryan played Robert Sugden in ITV soap from 2014 to 2019. However, Ryan left the show when his character was sentenced to life imprisonment.
Recently, actress Isobel Steele, who plays Robert’s former sister-in-law Liv Flaherty, has been talking about how she’d love Ryan to come back, but isn’t sure if it will, as Ryan is welcoming a happy newcomer to his family has his wife Daisy Prestes de Oliveira.

Speak with Digital spyIsobel said, “Me and Danny [Miller] actually spoke about it the other day.
“We miss Ryan very much. We were very close when we were filming together.
“If you film every day, you become really good friends.
“We miss that dynamic and I know the fans do too.
She added, “Hopefully they’ll convince him to come back! He just had a baby so I don’t know when he would be back so keep your fingers crossed. “
Why did Ryan leave Emmerdale?
In June 2019, The Sun reported that Ryan was leaving the show to try other projects.
At the time, an ITV source told the publication, “Emmerdale fans loved every minute of Robron’s story and what made Ryan play Robert.
“But he has decided to take a break from the show for the foreseeable future and try other projects.”
In 2019, Robert’s sister Victoria was raped by Lee Posner, which resulted in her becoming pregnant.
But when Lee started molesting Victoria, Robert hit him over the head.
Lee was hospitalized and died a few months later from complications from his injuries. After Lee’s death, Robert was sentenced to life imprisonment.
When he was jailed on the Isle of Wight, he said goodbye to his husband, Aaron.
But he later filed for divorce, to Aaron’s shock.

Will Robert Sugden ever return?
Although it is not known if Robert will ever return, the character will be imprisoned for life.
However, anything is possible in Soap Country.
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7 p.m. on ITV, Thursdays at 8 p.m. with an additional episode.
