For most celebs, reading has become their favorite pastime. But one question we all have is what are they actually reading?

Known in B’Town for her love of literature, Kajol has a huge collection of novels, and her reading choices are pretty extensive. If we look at her Instagram posts, she seems to be an avid reader. Her love for reading is so great that some rooms of her mansion in Mumbai have become libraries. So let’s take a look at the seven best books from Kajol’s collection.

Chanakya’s singing:

Kajol has a great interest in Indian mythology and therefore always prefers to read something from India’s creative past. The Ramayana series by Ashok Banker is one of the most famous works. Based on Indian mythology talking about Ram, Sita, Ravana, Ayodhya, Sitas Mithila, and Ravans Lanka, the series is famous among Indian readers.

Ramchandra series:

Amish Tripathi’s Ramchandra series has earned the title of best seller. The series includes three books, Ram – Scion of Ikshvaku, Sita – Warrior of Mithila and the third Raavan: Enemy of Aryavarta. All books show the life of the Ramayana trio in a historical format. The last book in this series is currently in progress.

Amar Chitra Katha:

Amar Chitra Katha was founded by Anant Pai and is known by both children and adults for its flexibility in terms of mythological and historical content and style of presentation. Using infographic methodology, Amar Chitra Katha’s authors have been a perfect source for infotainment in India since 1967.

Sarah J Mass Books:

Kajol is a dedicated reader of the American author Sarah. She has written seven books under different genres. Her first book Throne of Glass – a fantasy novel – made her known worldwide.

On the labor front, Kajol was last seen directing Renuka Shahane’s Tribhanga, and her short film Devi was recently named “The Black Lady” for Best Picture – Popular Choice at the 66th Vimal Elaichi Filmfare Awards!
