For actor and producer Sohum Shah, his mythological horror film “Tumbbad” will always be something special, as the film pleasantly surprised everyone not only with critical acclaim but also with its box office performance. Not to mention that it took Sohum 7 years to make the film that set a new genre in Bollywood.
Recently Sohum stumbled upon something that immediately took him back to the world of ‘Tumbbad’. The versatile actor used his social media to share a picture of him holding a miniature version of a classic car featured prominently in Tumbbad, which relived his memories of the making of the film. He wrote: “Yeh toh ekdum #Tumbbad wali gaadi jaise hai, hai na?”
Over the years, the fan base for the rich world of ‘Tumbbad’ has escalated due to its presence on digital media. Also as a producer and actor, Sohum went out of his way to ensure that the film turns out to be an interesting and entertaining watch. Immediately after the film was released, Sohum had also spoken out about plans to film it in a franchise.
Sohum is eagerly awaiting the success of his latest web series “Maharani” for the release of his further highly anticipated digital show “Fallen”, in which Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Varma and Gulshan Devaiah can also be seen.
