Credited for redefining the fashion game, Sonam Kapoor is always making headlines for her style. The actress is currently based in London, advancing the game with her super-stylish avatars for her high-end public appearances. Leading change of voice, Sonam, attended the launch of The Business of Fashion Show on Bloomberg Quicktake in London yesterday. The fashionista opted for a red Alexander McQueen dress with a ruffled neckline and balloon sleeves. She paired the dress with a black waist belt and boots, all by Alexander McQueen, to complete the outfit and looked just majestic.
In addition to Sonam, Christopher Kane, Ajak Deng, Stephen Jones, Bimini, RAYE, David Koma, Neville Gillett, Jefferson Hack, Stephanie Phair, Caroline Rush and Erdem Moralioglu joined BoF Founder and CEO Imran Amed, along with key figures from The BoF Show with model and activist Kai-Isaiah Jamal, fashion editor Pierre Alexandre M’Pele and the disruptive entrepreneurs Max Bittner (CEO, Vestiaire Collective) and Marjorie Hernandez (founder, LUKSO).
The lead actress also shared the show’s trailer on her social media handle, writing, “I’m so proud of my amazing friend @imranamed. I saw the work and dedication he put into this show and I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek! And let me tell you that it is relevant, educational and a true reflection of our times, all through its very empathetic and analytical lens. “

“The BoF Show with Imran Amed” will air every two weeks on Bloomberg Quicktake starting September 30, 2021. Episodes 1 and 2 focus on disruption and reinvention at Haute Couture Week in July 2021 – the first physical week of fashion since March 2020 – where top creatives and executives such as François-Henri Pinault (Chairman and CEO of Kering), Demna Gvasalia (Creative Director of Balenciaga), Marine Serre (Creative Director, Marine Serre), Angelica Cheung (Venture Partner, Sequoia Capital China) and Bruno Pavlovsky (President of Fashion, Chanel) will tell how they feel in the fashion landscape that has been forever changed by the pandemic move.
Meanwhile, Sonam is preparing to release the highly anticipated thriller of the year Blind. Directed by Shome Makhija, the film is supported by Sujoy Ghosh.
