Sony Pictures ventures into audio streaming with Go Beyond Podcast

Sony Pictures Networks India is the first major Indian broadcaster to venture into audio streaming with the Go-Beyond Podcast. The specially curated podcast pays tribute to people who have handled the cards that life has given them in an exemplary manner. This podcast was launched in the month of SPN’s 25th anniversary and has so far introduced eleven important guests from various walks of life. The guest line-up is just as exciting and varied. The podcast capsules are a fun mix of laughter, wit, insight and inspiration.

For the past 25 years, Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) has played a pivotal role in shaping India’s entertainment ecosystem. To meet the needs of an ever evolving audience, the brand has created cross-genre experiences and added a variety of groundbreaking innovations to its earnings. Well-known personalities with notable journeys and stories in the fields of sports, literature, business, entertainment, history and culinary arts, to name a few, have already attended SPN’s “Go-Beyond Podcast”. India is the third largest podcast market after China and the US, according to a PWC report, and is estimated to have 17.61 million listeners by 2023.

In her episode, she talks about her humble beginnings in a small town to pursuing big dreams in the Maximum City.NP Singh (MD and CEO-SPN) and Ashok Nambissan (General Counsel, SPN): The first episode is an interesting and insightful one Conversation between two industry experts who are also good friends. Going back in time, Nambissan begins his conversation by asking Singh about his background in the industry and what made him change industries to join the Sony Pictures Network in 1999.
