Sophie Wessex has stated that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “are still a family no matter what.”
The Countess of Wessex, 56, spoke about her nephew and wife after her argument with the royals.
In a new interview with the Telegraph magazineSophie revealed that she had a “long talk” with Harry after Prince Philip’s funeral.

The Duke of Sussex had flown to Great Britain for the service in April after the death of his grandfather.
It was the first time he was back on home soil since he and Meghan’s shocked departure from the royal family.
But in a joint interview with her husband Prince Edward, Sophie said: “We are still a family, no matter what, we always will be.”

The Earl and Countess of Wessex were also interviewed about Harry and Meghan’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
During the chat, the couple accused The Firm of ignoring Meghan’s plea for help when she felt suicidal.
They also claimed a family member was racist when Meghan was pregnant with their first child Archie, now two.
Harry said the nameless person had “worries” about their baby’s skin color.

In the following days, Prince William was questioned about the allegations while attending school.
“We are not a racist family,” he said.
Buckingham Palace also described the allegations as “worrying” and said it would deal with it privately.
When asked by Telegraph Magazine about the Oprah chat, Edward, 57, thought, “Oprah who?”
Sophie also smiled, “Yes, which interview?”
‘Things have changed’
The couple went on to explain how Prince Edward would take on a more prominent role in the working royal family.
It comes after Harry’s departure as well as after Prince Philip’s death.
Sophie said, “We’ve made progress in what we’re doing and hopefully we’ve done well. And then all of a sudden there is a little pause and things have changed a bit.
“Of course the media are looking for people who fill the so-called void.”
She added, “If people want to be more careful about what we’re doing, great.”

Sophie struggled to hold back tears as she shared her memories of her father-in-law.
The couple now say their children, Lady Louise Windsor and Viscount Severn, “are still expecting Grandpa to arrive in his green Land Rover”.
Prince Edward and Sophie have vowed to continue the work of Prince Philip after his death from the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
