‘Things have changed’

The couple went on to explain how Prince Edward would take on a more prominent role in the working royal family.

It comes after Harry’s departure as well as after Prince Philip’s death.

Sophie said, “We’ve made progress in what we’re doing and hopefully we’ve done well. And then all of a sudden there is a little pause and things have changed a bit.

“Of course the media are looking for people who fill the so-called void.”

She added, “If people want to be more careful about what we’re doing, great.”
