Piers Morgan took one final blow at the BBC Breakfast after leaving GMB.
It comes days after the 55-year-old presenter confirmed he was stepping down from the ITV program.
Piers paid tribute to his former team on Twitter today (March 11th) and dealt one final blow to rival BBC Breakfast.

The numbers for Piers’ final appearance on GMB show it outperformed BBC Breakfast with a 35.3% audience share.
Meanwhile, BBC Breakfast had 33.4%.
Obviously a little smug, he wrote, “I had one goal when I came to GMB – to beat BBC Breakfast in the ratings. We did it on my last day.

“That was thanks to the hard work and commitment of the entire team.
“They don’t all agree with me, some don’t even like me, but we were a team … and we won.”
He added, “Thanks guys. I’ll miss you.”

Furthermore, it comes after rival Dan Walker struck a punch at Piers earlier this week.
After the star left, the BBC host responded to the news on Twitter.
Dan tweeted, “I’m sorry to hear the news of your departure from GMB @piersmorgan.

“If you want to come to the number 1 breakfast show in the UK to talk about it, we could make some space for you in the morning.”
However, his followers were divided over the tweet as some people described it as “rude” and “inappropriate”.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday (March 10th), Dan appeared to be digging into Piers again on Twitter.

He said to his followers, “All the screaming, scolded people who tell me I’m not like you know who … thank you.
“If you want a program that likes to exploit topics like mental health to create controversy, divisions and clicks, I am pleased to say … you are in the wrong place.”

The TV rivals have been fighting for years.
Not only did Piers take a blow at the BBC Breakfast and his position in the ratings, he also branded Dan a “poodle” in one of her many Twitter Spats.
