On the Piers Morgan news, his wife playfully assaulted her husband after leaving GMB.
The host left the ITV daytime show on Tuesday after setbacks and Ofcom complaints over his comments on Meghan Markle’s Oprah interview.
Many of Piers’ co-stars have spoken out and his wife, Celia Walden, broke her silence on social media.
What did Celia Walden say about husband Piers Morgan?
Celia shared a photo of a cartoon by artist Matt Pritchett relating to Piers’ GMB exit.

The drawing says, “Piers Morgan said it had been a fantastic year, six years. ITV said some memories might vary. “
Next to the cartoon, Celia wrote: “This is his birthday present sorted.”
This was referring to Buckingham Palace’s recent statement on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Oprah interview.
The Queen said the palace would investigate the couple’s allegations of racism within the royal family after they claimed there were “concerns” about how dark their son Archie’s skin might be before he was born.
Meanwhile, Celia shared a parody created by comedian Alexandra Haddow and joked that Celia was shocked when she woke up every morning to see Piers.
Due to the 6am GMB start, Piers was up early in the morning, but now he can sleep a little longer.
In addition to the funny sketch, Celia wrote: “Right on the money.”
Meanwhile, earlier this week, Piers sparked a backlash on the show after saying he didn’t believe a word, Meghan told Oprah Winfrey during the interview.
On Tuesday night, ITV confirmed that Piers would be leaving the show after five years.
The star later posted a message on Twitter saying he stood by his comments on the Duchess of Sussex.
What did Piers say?
He wrote: “On Monday I said I didn’t believe Meghan Markle in her Oprah interview.

“I’ve had time to ponder that opinion, and I still don’t. If you’ve done that, OK. Freedom of expression is a hill I like to die on. “
This morning, Piers paid tribute to his GMB colleagues and said he would miss them.
He tweeted: “I had a goal when I got to it @ GMB – beat @ BBCBreakfast in the ratings. We did it on my last day.
“That was thanks to the hard work and commitment of the entire team.”
Piers added, “They don’t all agree with me, some don’t even like me, but we were a team … and we won. Thanks, people. I’ll miss you.”
