Syndicate star Gaynor Faye has said she wants to return to Emmerdale AND Coronation Street.
The actress played Megan Macey in Emmerdale before quitting in 2019 to spread her wings.
She also played Judy Mallett in Corrie for four years until 1999 when she fell dead from a blood clot.
Even so, Gaynor wouldn’t say no to going back to either soaps.
Talking about her decision to leave Emmerdale, Gaynor told people, “It was a really tough decision.

“Being able to do a job that you love in your hometown is very rare. But I couldn’t have stayed and made Band Of Gold, so I had no choice.
“I really hoped I could have and stayed in Emmerdale, but it wasn’t possible. And they left the door open for me. “
When asked if she was going back to Emmerdale or ruling it out, she said, “Absolutely not – it’s a great job.”
Gaynor Faye wants Corrie to come back
And she added that despite the death of her character Judy, she wants to return to Corrie.
“I wouldn’t have ruled out going back to Coronation Street, but I died!” She said.
“I firmly believe that if it is to be, it will happen.”
Gaynor stars in the new series from The Syndicate, written by her mother, Kay Mellor.
Writer Kay spoke about the plot of the new series that started last week.
She told the BBC: “The Syndicate’s new series is an entirely new story between Yorkshire and Monaco. It is the story of a group of young kennel workers who win the lottery.

“They think they won £ 500 in the beginning, which they are happy about, but then it becomes clear that they may have won a lot more.
“The syndicate is trying to track down the shopkeeper who sold them the lottery ticket – and is now in Monaco – to find out what went wrong and why.”
She added, “It’s a cat-and-mouse chase and nothing is what it seems.”
