The world-famous Indian miniature artist Suvigya Sharma is accepted as a member of the Advisory Board for Art & Culture for the Delphic Games. The logo of the Delphic Council of Maharashtra was recently unveiled by Shri at the Raj Bhavan in Mumbai. Bhagat Singh Koshyari, the governor of Maharashtra. This eventful ceremony was honored by the actress and classical dancer Hema Malini, the actor and chairman of the NSD, Paresh Rawal, as a guest of honor. The industrialists Yash Birla and Avi Mittal, the actors Bhagyashree, Tejaswini Kolhapure and Shreyas Talpade as well as the architect Hafeez Contractor were also present at the logo unveiling ceremony.
Suvigya worked closely with hon. Vice President Vekiah Naidu to promote the artisans of Maharashtra, thereby promoting skill development through arts and culture. “I am really honored and privileged to be a part of the Delphic Council of India. With this initiative, our aim is to create a platform for emerging artists to showcase their talent through arts, crafts and performances and to make the country proud on an international level, ”says Suvigya.

Suvigya is the world’s most disciplined miniature artist who has practiced traditional fine miniature art under the lineage of his father, legendary fine artist Mr. RK Sharma, who is descended from the masters of Kishangarh Shaili Miniature paintings. He specializes in the 2000 year old art form found in Pichwais, Refined Tanjore, Piqua, and Life-Like Portraits. The artist has made headlines for creating some of the world’s most sophisticated and valuable personal collections, housed in the residences of the most elite and respected families worldwide, including the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Ambanis, the Birlas, the Piramals and Celebrities like Justin Bieber, Rani Mukherjee, Kangana Ranaut, Sachin Tendulkar and Sanjay Dutt.

A festival of arts, crafts and culture, the Delphic Games were born in ancient Greece 2,500 years ago and are considered the twin sister of the Olympic Games. They are to art and culture what the Olympic Games are to physical sports.
