Ant McPartlin and Anne-Marie Corbett are reportedly engaged and fans have rushed to congratulate the couple.
A friend close to the couple claimed the Got Talent UK host planned on asking the question for a while – and eventually did it on Christmas Eve.

They said, “Ant has been planning this for a while – but wanted to make sure the moment was just right.
“Both Amzie and Ant love Christmas and really deal with it every year, so Ant decided to ask the question on Christmas Eve.”

They described Ant’s traditional approach to asking Anne-Marie to be his wife.

The insider also said a ceremony this summer was “extremely unlikely” so they could tie the knot in 2022.

Anne-Marie, Ant’s former personal assistant, is the mother of two children. She broke up with her husband a few months before Ant’s split with ex-wife Lisa Armstrong.

In January 2019, Ant said that none of them actively sought love after their marriages failed.
Speaking to The Sun, he said that getting together “is the last thing they think” but it happened anyway.
