The current series on the Martin Lewis Money Show Live ended last night (March 18) and its future seems a little in the air.
Hosted by Martin and Angellica Bell, this series features 40 live episodes that save the British money every week.
However, the Martin Lewis Money Show Live does not appear to have been restarted by ITV if the host’s comments are accurate right at the end of the episode.
What did Martin Lewis say about The Money Show Live?
When he unsubscribed, Martin said, “I hope the show has helped you save money.
“We’re back with a one-time travel special in May.
“After that, it’s up to ITV. Visit me on social media and I’ll keep you posted. “

True to his word, Martin actually went straight to his social media.
When posting on Twitter, he said he couldn’t believe the series was over.
“Impressive. Can’t believe this @itvmlshow Series is over.
“We did 40 live shows in the last year, since that first COVID emergency special.
“We hope ITV wants us back.”
Martin thanked the production team and crew as well as his co-host Angellica.

How did viewers react to the news?
An avid fan of the show responded to Martin’s tweet asking ITV to commission another series.
They said: “come on @ITV we need #MartinLewis for advice and how to save. “
Another added his hopes for a new series.
“It is certain that ITV would like to commission another series. Your show has never been as relevant as it was in these difficult times. Both of you, first-class moderators, ”they praised.

“Don’t understand that you are not commissioned for at least 52 weeks a year! The nation needs you !!! “explained another.
Another asked Martin to knight himself in thanks for the help he gave the viewers in saving money.
ITV would be crazy if you weren’t at it again.
“I love your show … I hope you both will be back soon. Do you think you should get a knighthood for what you did for us last year, ”they said.
“@ITV @itvMLshow Can’t you see the demand for Martin who has a permanent weekly show, ideally an hour so he doesn’t have to hurry? “Another asked the channel.
“At least I do, and I’m sure that millions of others will be disappointed if they don’t get another series. Should be an integral part, ”said another.
“They shouldn’t have undressed you,” suggested another.
“ITV would be crazy if you weren’t there again,” concluded another.
Did Martin say anything else?
It seems Martin kept his fingers crossed for a new series.
Today he tweeted about last night’s viewership.
He said: “I just got the reviews for last night @itvmlshow Season finale. A whopping 2.8 million (15% share).
“I didn’t quite win the slot that was pipped by the Masterchef Moloch (3 m), but it was great and almost twice as much as the show in our slot the year before.
“Cross our fingers enough to get a restart,” he said.
