GMB has lost a third of its viewers after Piers Morgan’s controversial exit from the show.
The 55-year-old presenter resigned from ITV’s daytime programming last week after arguing over Meghan Markle’s Oprah interview with Alex Beresford.
And now ratings are reportedly down by 255,000 viewers.
What are this week’s GMB ratings so far?
On Monday (March 15) the episode drew an average of 895,700 viewers.
The show was the first Monday without piers hosting.

Instead, Susanna Reid appeared alongside Ben Shephard.
In the past week, over 1.9 million viewers watched piers.
After his departure, Piers beat the impressive numbers at rival BBC Breakfast.
The numbers for Piers’ final appearance on GMB showed it outperformed BBC Breakfast with a 35.3% audience share.
However, the BBC breakfast had 33.4%.
He shared the news on social media, writing, “I had one goal when I came to GMB – to beat BBC Breakfast in the ratings. We did it on my last day.
“It was thanks to the hard work and commitment of the entire team.
“They don’t all agree with me, some don’t even like me, but we were a team … and we won.”
Who will replace Piers Morgan?
Ben jumped into Piers’ square the morning after he left and has proven to be popular with the onlookers.
Deputy host Adil Ray’s name is also in the picture, and ITV has been reported to be keeping an eye on Victoria Derbyshire to fill the coveted spot alongside Susanna Reid.

The Sun claims, “ITV manufacturers have been looking for the right platform for Victoria for a while.
“They think she’s a real talent and one of the few TV journalists with an opinion that could be a real source of strength for GMB.”
