In the latest Meghan Markle news, the Duchess marked Father’s Day with a sweet gesture.
Unfortunately, the Duchess of Sussex has no close relationship with her father, Thomas Markle.
The couple has been in a family feud for years.
That didn’t stop Meghan from celebrating the special occasion in a different way, however.

Author Matt Haig used social media to reveal to fans that Meghan had sent him a copy of her new children’s book, The Bench.
Next to the present he showed a handwritten note from the Duchess.

Before it was released, Meghan spoke about the importance of her children’s book.
She said, “The bank started out as a poem I wrote for my husband on Father’s Day, a month after Archie’s birth. This story became this poem. “
Meanwhile, her estranged father, Thomas, recently reached out to his daughter.

He told fans on Friday, “After her first children’s book, which became a certified # 1 New York Times best-seller, Duchess Meghan will give her only #TheBench interview to @samanthabalaban on the prestigious @NPRWeekend show this Sunday 8 to 10 a.m. East. “
