Milo Ventimiglia travels in the late 1950s to join Rachel Brosnahan in season 4 of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel.
According to Deadline, the actor will appear in an unknown role for the upcoming series.
Ventimiglia is famous for starring in Heroes, Gilmore Girls and most recently This Is Us.
His new role will be an unofficial Gilmore Girls reunion, with Amy Sherman-Palladino and EP Daniel Palladino behind both series.
Ventimiglia has not yet made a statement about the upcoming part.
The quick-witted The Marvelous Mrs Maisel is an Amazon Prime Video fan favorite and has earned more than 20 Emmys since her launch in 2017.
The story is about Jewish New York housewife Midge who embarks on a stand-up comedy career after discovering her husband’s affair.
Her wild but loyal best friend Susie joins her as a manager.
Rachel Brosnahan and Alex Borstein are the leading actresses.
Michael Zegen plays her adulterous ex-husband who realizes his mistake too late.
As the series progresses, Ms. Maisel becomes a rising star in the comedy scene, with season three following her as a support act on a nationwide tour.
However, after teaming up with headliner Shy (Leroy McClain), Midge makes a terrible mistake that could consequently ruin her career.
Filming for the latest episodes has been going on in New York City since March, with Brosnahan walking the streets in a giant custom-made umbrella with an air filter for coronavirus prevention.
The actress used this in place of a face mask to prevent smudging of her makeup.
When will Marvelous Mrs Maisel season 4 be released?
There is currently no confirmed release date for Season 4 of Marvelous Mrs Maisel.
Filming is still ongoing, with fans assuming the season will end in December.
This would coincide with the previous two seasons, which fell on December 5th and December 6th, respectively.
The first three seasons can now be streamed.
The wonderful Mrs. Maisel is available on Amazon Prime Video.
