Line Of Duty Season 6 is almost here and fans can’t wait, so it’s time for some spoilers.
The BBC recently shared a teaser confirming that the cop drama would hit the screens for the sixth time in March.

Matthew ‘Dot’ Cottan back?
Actor Craig Parkinson’s character died in the third series, so it is unlikely that he will return. However, Craig recently confirmed that he will be involved in the sixth series.
He will host the BBC Sounds Podcast on the show “Obsessed with … Line Of Duty”.
Kate is H?
Line Of Duty fans feared for Kate Flemming (Vicky McClure) when the BBC shared their season six teaser.

It showed her in an obvious encounter with the police, including her colleagues Ted Hastings (Adrian Dunbar) and Steve Arnott (Martin Compston).
Could it be H – one of the bent coppers AC-12 is looking for?
Ted Hastings shot?
The BBC teaser also appeared to hint at danger for Ted Hastings. As he spoke over a megaphone, it seemed to show Kate unbuttoning her holster.

Steve Arnott a Marked Man?
Steve Arnott could also be in danger. Actor Martin Compston shared a picture for his followers on social media.
The picture showed a bullet hole across his chest, and Martin wrote next to it, “This is a not-so-hidden message @bbciplayer?”

More loose ends?
Could this line of duty streak end with more loose endings, leaving fans with a million questions like the others did?
It certainly seems like the creator Jed Mercurio suggested that he would like to do more in the future.
He said on the Out To Lunch podcast, “I really want to get on with Line Of Duty. I think season six proves we have a lot more to do. “
Nods to the pandemic
In the new series, AC-12, the anti-corruption unit, will compete against their “most enigmatic opponent” to date, Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Davidson (Kelly Macdonald).
We have crept in some allegorical points regarding the current situation.
You will question her about her conduct in an unsolved murder case.
And while the bosses are still up to date on other details of the plot, we know the pandemic will play a role in the new series – albeit to a minor extent.

Jed said the characters won’t be socially distant or wear masks.
However, there will be some small nod to the current situation. He told Mary Beard of Inside Culture, “We have crept in a couple of allegorical points regarding the current situation, so keen-eyed viewers should look out for these.”
