Who is Elize Matsunaga?

Elize Ramos Kitano Matsunaga is notorious in Brazil.

She became a household name after confessing to murdering her husband Marcos Kitano Matsunaga. At the time of the incident, she had a one-year-old daughter.

Elize says she found out that Marcos is having an affair.

In a fit of anger, she is said to have shot him several times in her apartment.

However, the bloodshed did not end.

Marcos was still alive and conscious when his throat was cut.

Elize is then said to have dismembered his body and scattered the pieces along a nearby road. Some parts of Marcos’ body were tragically never found.

Elize initially tried to cover up the murder but eventually confessed to the police. When his family became concerned about his whereabouts, Elize claimed he ran away with his lover.

“I felt a great moral responsibility to direct this show,” said director Eliza Capai.

“Not just for Marcos’ family and friends who suffered from this tragedy. Also for Elize’s family, people who knew nothing about it, but who still suffer from the consequences to this day. “

Elize’s defense team described the murder as a crime of passion.

However, prosecutors claim Elize planned every detail before carrying out the gruesome attack.
