Does he have kids?

Michael and Kitty have two children together – Lucas and Oscar.

The family lives in posh Hampstead, London.

In June 2018, Michael was robbed by men on mopeds while parked in front of his children’s school.

They stole his watch.

How did he get famous?

Michael had a taste for comedy from a young age.

Michael left Edinburgh University to follow in his father’s footsteps and made his first appearance in 2001.

He performed in dingy comedy clubs, sometimes in front of only 25 people.

Unfortunately, he struggled for years to gain recognition in the comedy scene.

As a result, by 2005 he was in debt of £ 40,000 and had to care for baby Lucas.

Michael therefore took radical measures and fired his agent.

He came to see Addison Cresswell, the agent who looks after Jo Brand, Jack Dee, Lee Evans and Alan Carr.

His first appearance with his new agent was a slot at the 2006 Royal Variety Performance – Michael’s first time on television.

Unlike his previous appearances, this one was an instant hit. And the rest is history!

Since then Michael has hosted Live at the Apollo, was a judge on Got Talent in the UK, had his own chat show and is now hosting The Wheel.

Not to mention his sold-out stadium appearances.
