According to reports, there will be a new Doctor Who.
Yesterday (January 3rd) it was announced that the 12th Doctor, actress Jodie Whittaker, will leave the role at the end of the next series.
Odds have now been announced in which the favorites are listed in order to receive the coveted role.
Who will be the new Doctor Who?
The BBC did not confirm the rumor.
However, this hasn’t stopped the bookmaker Bet Fair from releasing the names preferred for the role.

A company spokesperson said: “Anyone who replaces Jodie Whittaker will have a hard time following him – the Huddersfield actress won the hearts of Whovians around the world.”

Kris Marshall
The former Death In Paradise star is the current bookmaker favorite.
I would be a fool to say I wasn’t interested in playing the doctorate, but I honestly didn’t hear anything.
Kris 47 rose to fame in My Family and starred in the BBC One police drama for four series.
After a time in the ITV drama Sanditon, he’s now a 3/1 favorite to be the new doctor.

Maxine Peake
Former shameless actress Maxine, 46, is currently 8/1 second favorite to get the role.

She has been a well-known face on television for over 25 years and counts the dinner ladies See No Evil: The Moorish Murderers, Silk and The Village among her most notable roles.

Natalie Dormer
Former Games Of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer is linked to Maxine on 8/1.
Natalie played the devious Margaery Tyrell in the medieval fantasy series for four years and was a fan favorite.
The Reading-born actress also appeared in Penny Dreadful: City Of Angels.

Tom Rosenthal
The Friday Night Dinner star is currently 10/1 the next doctor.
In 2017, the 32-year-old said in an interview: “I would be foolish to say that I wasn’t interested in playing the doctor, but I honestly haven’t heard anything,” he said.

James Norton
The heartbreaker of Happy Valley, Grantchester, and McMafia is currently 14/1.
James, 35, starred on the 2013 episode Cold War, and reports suggest he’s ready to return to the show in some form or another.

Phoebe Waller Bridge
One of the hottest properties in the world, 35 year old Phoebe became famous when she created and starred the acclaimed Fleabag.
She also created the hit woman series Killing Eve.
Phoebe is currently 16/1 with Tilda Swinton and has long been rumored to be associated with the role.
She said of Doctor Who in 2017, “I’m not allowed to say anything … one way or another.”

Michaela Coel
Michaela, another global hot property, is currently 20/1 to land the part.
She was recently featured in the brilliant BBC One film I May Destroy You, as well as Chewing Gum and Black Earth Rising.
