Who is Anna Haugh?
Anna Haugh is an Irish cook who switched to television.
She first completed a professional cooking course in Dublin and then began working with Derry Clarke from L’Ecrivain in Dublin.
She then moved to London, where she worked with Philip Howard, Shane Osborne and Gordon Ramsay.
Anna had the opportunity to open Gordon Ramsay’s new London House restaurant in Battersea.
Here she was allowed to cook her own food and won three AA rosettes in her first year in charge.
Anna also worked with Gualtiero Marchesi in Paris.
Eventually, she started a new restaurant in 2019, named after Myrtle Allen in Chelsea.
Anna took part in the Ready Steady Cook revival in March 2020, along with a rotating line of fellow chefs.
She has also appeared as a judge for the US version of Hell’s Kitchen and can be seen regularly at Saturday Kitchen and Sunday Brunch.
Anna is also a regular cook on Morning Live for BBC One.
Which restaurant does she work in?
Anna Haugh works in her own restaurant, which she founded in 2019.
She named it Myrtle Restaurant after taking inspiration from the late Myrtle Allen, who died in 2018.
Myrtle was a Michelin-starred Irish chef and co-owner of The Yeats Room restaurant at Ballymaloe House in Shanagarry, County Cork.
Myrtle Restaurant serves an Irish-inspired menu and features mostly women-run cuisine.
It quickly won praise for its informal yet elegant way of cooking.
Since Myrtle opened, Anna has been one of the professional chefs redesigning the BBC classic Ready Steady Cook and has also won the Food and Wine Award for Best International Chef.

Guest judge Anna Haugh is on hand to evaluate her efforts, resulting in two eliminations.
The remaining MasterChef hopefuls are preparing a meal for the staff at the Michelin-starred Fat Duck restaurant under the watchful eye of former chef Jonny Lake.
