As he walked to the subway station with granddaughter Abi Branning Jr., he saw Abi look up at Rainie’s and Stuart’s apartment.
Then he decided to leave the toddler with her great-aunt Rainie, who helped raise her.
When Max saw Rainie take Abi into the house, he tore himself open and went to the subway station.
Stacey Slater – Lacey Turner
Lacey Turner returned to EastEnders last year when she returned from maternity leave.
However, her character, Stacey, will leave Walford after Lacey has gone back on maternity leave.
It is unknown when Stacey will leave or what her exit storyline will be. However, it is believed that she will be leaving soon as Lacey has already given birth to her second child.
The actress gave birth to a little boy. In July 2019, Lacey and her husband Matt welcomed a little girl they named Dusty.
Kush Kazemi – Davood Ghadami
Another character who will leave Albert Square in 2021 is Kush Kazemi.
Last year it was announced that Kush actor Davood Ghadami will be leaving the soap this year.
Although his exit plot has not been confirmed, it has been reported that the plot will be big.
An insider said metro Last year: “Bosses have planned a huge conspiracy, but although Davood was informed in January, it was not that long ago that he left.
“In fact, Kush will be on screen well into 2021. It’s a shame and he will be missed by everyone at Elstree, but sometimes the cost of a big storyline means losing great characters.”
The news was later confirmed by a BBC spokesman who said: “We can confirm that Davood will be leaving EastEnders when his contract ends next year.
“Davood has been a wonderful addition to EastEnders and we wish him all the best for the future.”
Mo Harris ‘Big Mo’ – Laila Morse
Another character who will be leaving will be Big Mo. It sounds like her exit isn’t going to be goobye for Mo forever, however, and Laila has confirmed she’ll be back.
It was reported that actress Laila was released from the soap and was later confirmed by a BBC spokesperson that Laila is leaving but the door remains open for her return.

She has decided to move to Spain but has announced that it will not be the last Big Mo viewers.
Speaking to Metro, she said: “It was also nice to see how much Big Mo means to many people. For those who think Big Mo will be gone forever, I can tell you that it is not. “
